field around us

Humans are such interesting creatures, we all make our own decisions, make our own choices choose the path we want to pursue, bring our dreams to reality and tend to always be happy, or so I envisioned my race to be, but at the end of the day, not everything we imagine comes to be, we all make our decisions but sometimes are biased by the environment we are in, we all make choices but mostly they are influenced by our past & the people around us, we may choose to pursue a path, but situation sways us from our path. We dream at night, the day is there just to achieve it, but dreams are limited by what we see around us, and sometimes we won’t even reach them. Happy, yes! we are happy all of us, the only difference is we just don’t know it yet, happiness is just state of mind.

Imagine a very small room, happiness is like a cube of ice, we can fit a lot in the room, but we will never be able to fit a large cube, are sadness is like water, it comes in and goes away, but if you try to fit a very large cube of ice, instead of small pieces, the cube will start to melt and the water will start seeping in. Though happiness is temporary, it is always present, its’ similar with sadness, they both go hand-in-hand, it’s up to you, what you see first.

You might have noticed something; we are always influenced by the world around us. We all have designated space for everything, we like to study around like-minded peoples (school/college), we feel more productive to work at our office. But the pandemic has just mixed everything, attending from my room? I rather sleep then attend college, working from home? I rather spent time with my family rather that working. But we know that won’t be possible. These thoughts just show us how much the environment affect us. Space is a very important aspect of our life, but why? I think I have an answer for you, it’s because of a special skill we have called adaptability, human is a social animal after all, we tend to blend into communities, societies, etc. These spaces doesn’t only affect us, it also affects how we act, how we behave, how we live, everything we need exists in the space we talk of, may it be food, or maybe water, or shelter, or any number of things, we can only obtain them through this space, it’s so fascinating, that we study it, and thus we obtain knowledge. All our material needs are fulfilled by this space.

We are so fascinated with this space, that we made our own space “virtual space”. You might be reading this somewhere online; do you wonder where it might be, think how you reached it. The world is definitely vast, but internet, is something that we made, and it is a very important part of our day-to-day lives, everywhere you like the internet has affected that in one way or another, and if not, you won’t hesitate to write about it, or maybe post a picture of it online, it’s an ever-growing space, whose bounds we don’t yet know.

Ever-growing space, whose bound we don’t yet know, sounds familiar. Outer space, I personally am fascinated by the outer space, it has so many things to quench my thirst for curiosity, things that I can’t see, places that I shouldn’t be, beings that we not yet know. Things that bend space itself, stars that emit light brighter than our own sun, places that even light cannot escape, It’s fascinating. If I ever got the opportunity to travel that space, I won’t miss if for the world.

“Change is the only constant”, the world around us changes every day, and so do people, I am no exception, but my old self contradicted the human that I explained earlier, I was (maybe still am) indecisive, I found it hard to make my own choices, we I didn’t even knew that I would do after school. Dreams I don’t think I ever dreamt of something that was grand and would take a lot of efforts to achieve, I was a newbie in the game we call life, and no other player was willing to hard carry me. But when I got the taste of the world outside my town, my school. It was just fascinating, after moving out to attend college, I gained more experience than all of these years combined, the world outside my town as so interesting, new, challenging and difficult. It introduced me with some legendary skills that were necessary for life, like communication, human interaction, curiosity, and much more.

We as people learn every day, though I learnt a lot in my safe space, i.e. my home. But I feel my real adventure started outside, where I was challenged every day, and which made me adapt to the continuous change. The space that we live in, matters a lot into shaping our personalities, everyone has different opinions, perspectives based on what environment they have been in. I feel that best skill to have in a world as vast as ours, is to be able to adapt to change, may it be people who change, may it be the environment, if you can adapt to any situation and could still be able to do your best, that makes you a true homo Sapien.

Thank you, for reading so far, I hope you find it a fun & influencing ride.
